As a long time audiophile I have recently become frustrated with the shopping experience offered many audio enthusiasts. With a lack of local hifi shops my last audio quests found me browsing the web, reading reviews and ultimately coming away with more questions than answers. I couldn't help thinking that the whole buying experience used to be a lot more fun.

For me, that experience included taking some favorite music into my local hifi store, talking audio with the salesperson, admiring gear I'd read about but couldn't afford, then finally settling down to do some listening. I opened Audio Volo to give music lovers a chance to audition exceptional audio components that offer outstanding performance at their price and to provide a tangible, personal, shopping experience.
